The Egyptian protesters have begun to see violence directed at them. Over the last few days, possibly (probably?) paid pro-Mubarak protesters and police have started clashing with the anti-Mubarak crowds. At first it was just rocks and batons that were flying, but recent reports have included stories of shootings, automatic gunfire, and deaths.
